In 1991 the company named Nieuwe Lente was founded by Bram Hijmans (1932-1996)
a composer, teacher and conductor. It was his intention to publish music especially
for the amateur musician hard to categorize. He therefore wrote many new compositions
and arrangements and constructed the flexible score with the part-score-books.
After his passing away the company
was (at his request) continued by his colleague Marcel Baars. With his arrival
the publications were standerized. Since oktober 1st. 1999 the name of the company
has changed into Nieuwe Lente Muziekuitgaven/Red Frog Music, shortly named Red
Frog Music. The name Red Frog Music, invented by Paul Min, the first two years
the business partner of Marcel Baars, was chosen to create a more approachable
name.
Red Frog Music cooperates extensively
with Highland Music Productions from Almere - The Netherlands. Highland Music
is a dealer address in The Netherlands for Youth Symfony orchestra, Fred Vogels
